Director: Paul W. Harkness

From the Director:

It has been my pleasure to serve in this role for the Macedon Community since October 2011. In addition to being the Director of EMS, I am also a full-time Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider for the Town of Macedon, and a part-time ALS provider for Wayne County. I obtained a degree in Emergency Medicine - Paramedic.

Prior to my current position, I served 5 years in the United States Navy, spent many years as a Patient Care Tech (PCT) in Newark-Wayne Hospital in several departments, and was a clinical manager for North Seneca Ambulance.

I am very passionate about my career and dedicate much of my spare time teaching First Aid and CPR classes throughout the neighboring communities.
