The American Legion will hold a ceremony at the Erie St. Cemetery on May 25, 2026, at 10:00 am.

The Scouts will lead the American Legion in the Pledge of Allegiance. Opening and closing prayers will be led by Rev. Aleka Schuth, and the national anthem will be performed by Sophie Bray. The guest speaker is Sharon Celentano, AUX President. The service will conclude with SAL Color Guard and Taps. There will be a small luncheon at the American Legion post ceremony.

The Town of Macedon is undergoing a re-valuation of all properties in 2026.

The last one was in 2022.

The average increase in assessed value is quite high, and this has led to many comments from the public that deserve a response. While the Town Board has no influence on the valuations, we have put together a set of slides to help the public understand some things about a re-valuation.
